just over the middle

just over the middle over the hardship of midday now the dust begins to settle i believe i’ll be okay i was pressed between decisions at the climax of great change though the pain came most at that time i had to feel it in order to stay stay right here within my own soul not allowing fear to run me away my thoughts threatened to drive me mad but i made it to the other side of day now the light begins to vanish rests its head ‘neath night’s right hand i’m comforted in the coolness of quiet abundant peace is on this land just over the hillside i’m sure dawn will break to day another difficulty will face me but i know night’s peace is worth the stay
