haven’t much to say to you or them feels quiet and loud here dare i say familiar here dark and cold, winter crisp here though i’d rather summer rest here free and fun around here wrapped in warmth against skin bare but they say it takes some time for seasons to change like the leaves and trees wait here for the sun to go round and back here enough times to bring heat near but i’m impatient i say sunshine’s required for my days haven’t the strength to stay here in clouded, unfamiliar fields i don’t like the whispers of winter here telling me i belong here leaning into fear here feeling i can’t escape here haven’t much that’s dear here all i have to say is i’d prefer you be near
